How we measure

A checker runs every minute from Hyderabad, separate from Mumbai where StudyMade runs, so it keeps watching even if Mumbai has trouble. It checks signing in, the institute app, the staff console and this website the way a visitor would.

A minute counts as down only if a check fails twice in a row. Minutes the checker could not run are shown as “not checked”, never as working.

What it cannot see: an outage of Amazon Web Services across both Indian regions would stop the checker as well as StudyMade. This page is hosted separately and stays up, but it would then show “not checked” rather than working or down. If this page has not been checked for more than five minutes, it says so instead of showing anything as working.

“This month” follows our uptime commitment: StudyMade is unavailable when people cannot sign in or cannot open the institute app.
